Why MyWaypoint Digital
There are a lot of web design options out there. Here's what makes us different — and why it matters for Canadian organizations.
Built in Canada
We're a Canadian company — incorporated in BC, operating under Canadian law, and deeply familiar with the Canadian digital landscape. This isn't a marketing claim. It means:
- We understand Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, BC PIPA, Quebec Law 25) and build accordingly
- We know the Canadian market — bilingual requirements, regional differences, Canadian business culture
- We operate under Canadian jurisdiction — your data and your project are governed by Canadian law
- We're available during Canadian business hours and understand Canadian holidays and timelines
- We can recommend Canadian hosting options for organizations with data residency requirements
Most web design providers — even those claiming to serve Canada — are US-based companies with limited understanding of Canadian requirements. We're not.
Privacy-First by Default
Our own website uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. We build client websites the same way unless there's a specific, justified reason to do otherwise.
This isn't just a policy — it's how we actually build. No Google Analytics. No Meta Pixel. No advertising trackers. No consent banner needed because there's nothing to consent to.
Accessibility-Conscious Design
Approximately 22% of Canadians live with a disability. An inaccessible website excludes them — and may expose your organization to legal risk under AODA (Ontario) or the Accessible Canada Act.
We build accessibility in from the start — not as an afterthought. Every website we build includes:
Bilingual Support Available
We build bilingual EN/FR websites for Canadian organizations. All five of our featured projects include live language switching — the only place on our website where you can see bilingual functionality in action.
We implement bilingual support through in-page toggles, separate URL structures, or CMS-driven translation — depending on your needs and budget. We understand the technical, SEO, and accessibility requirements for bilingual Canadian websites.
Transparent Pricing
We publish our pricing ranges on our website. We provide clear quotes before starting work. We don't have hidden fees, surprise invoices, or lock-in contracts.
Website projects start at $750 CAD for a single-page site and $1,500 CAD for a multi-page starter website, scaling based on scope and complexity. We'll give you a clear, itemized quote after understanding your specific needs — and we'll tell you honestly if a simpler approach would serve you just as well.
Responsible AI Practices
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and code generation — but all deliverables are reviewed, edited, and validated by our team. We don't publish AI-generated content without human review and fact-checking.
We're transparent about our AI use. We don't pretend AI isn't part of our workflow — but we also don't let it replace the judgment, expertise, and accountability that our clients deserve.
We also offer AI Readiness assessments to help organizations understand where AI can safely and effectively support their work — and where it can't.
A Growing Design Ideas Catalog
Browse more than 160 website Design Ideas across a wide range of industries, layouts, and visual directions. Each Design Idea is a starting point — adapted to your brand, content, and business rather than delivered as an unchanged product.
Design Ideas reduce the uncertainty of starting from a blank page. Custom design remains available when an existing direction is not the right fit.
Showcase Sites
We've built six fully developed, multi-page demonstration websites showing how we approach different industries, audiences, and bilingual Canadian markets. You can explore them before you commit — not just look at screenshots.
Public Trust Centre
We maintain a public Trust Centre at mytrustcentre.ca — a dedicated resource where anyone can review our privacy practices, AI use policy, data handling, security posture, and technology stack. We don't hide how we operate.
Most web design providers don't have a Trust Centre. We do — because transparency is how trust is built.
